Installation Instructions
- Download MSI Geneartor from this page by clicking on the appropriate link.
- If you are downloading the zip portable package, unzip it to a new folder. Ensure that .Net Framework 4.0 is installed in your system. Open the target folder, and launch MSIGenerator.exe directly without installation.
- For Windows installer, double-click it and follow the onscreen instructions
MSI Generator activation
After downloading and installing, MSI Generator will run in evaluation mode. In order to enable the product for production or commercial usage, you should purchase subscription license and activate it by using an activation key.
The product activation can be done by starting MSI Generator, selecting Help → About → Enter Serial key → Register.
Evaluation Mode Limitations
- Not more than 100 files and 1000 registry entries included in the MSI package
- Not more than 2 shortcuts included in the MSI package
- Not more than 1 permission change included in the MSI package
- Applying Merge Modules (MSM) is not available in evaluation mode
- Import and export of files and registry in MSI is disabled in evaluation mode
