App-V Generator opens App-V packages (OSD, SFT fles) for editing and creates App-V packages from scratch using system snapshots comparison and data filtering.
How to create App-V package

Launch App-V Generator, select File → New menu and specify App-V package parameters (package name, asset dir, etc.) in the Package Creation Wizard

App-V Generator creates first system snapshot
- Install and configure application

User installs and configures application to be sequenced into App-V

App-V Generator creates second system snapshot and compares snapshots
- Manage files, registry, services

User can review and include/exclude files, shortcuts, registry keys and services in the App-V package
- Discover application settings

App-V Generator detects application settings in registry database and in files and saves application settings in APP-V manifest file. Discovered application settings can be easily changed later without of App-V package re-sequencing.
How to edit App-V package

Launch App-V Generator, select File -> Open menu and open SFT or OSD,file for editing

You can add, rename, remove files and folders in App-V package, change file attributes

You can add, rename, remove registry keys and values in App-V package, import and export .REG files.

You can add, remove virtual services in App-V package, and edit service properties.
