The information system of the CUSTOMER CARE service
The "Customer care" system represents a set of hardware and software components ensuring the processes of storage, access and analysis of the information about the customers of the company.
The software is designed for the automation of:
- Publishing the information about the customers, terms and conditions of their invoices and contracts;
- Printing necessary reports;
- Displaying the maps of the territories covered by a signal;
- Support the statistical analysis of outgoing and incoming calls;
- Integration to other internal and external systems.
The software is developed on the basis of the "client-server" concept with the database server. The customers are the end users of a system. The Customer Care system allows making transformation of stored data to the user-friendly form and gives the ergonomic interface to the users.
The customer part of the system is subdivided into subsystems such as:
- Delivery of the information about calls;
- Information retrieval;
- View of the information at the level "Subscriber";
- View of the information at the level "Contracts";
- View of the information at the level "Payment";
- Information management and work-history storage;
- Mapping of stable connection territory cover.

Technologies used:
RDBMS Oracle is used as a server part of a system. User interface and business logic has been written in MS Visual Basic 6.0
