Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):
• Acting as subject matter experts for answering internal requests in e.g. bill information, reproduction, database dumps etc.
• Testing and validation of test results.
• Analysis of problems by: analysing data, changing configuration, running test series (running BSCS and non-BSCS applications in non-production environments).
• Documentation of follow-ups.
• Creation of Problem Notifications and extraction of supporting test data.
• Responding to information requests.
• Changing of business configuration (rates and promotions).
• Changing of application parameters.
• Determine obsolete data and develop scripts for removal.
Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies / skills:
• Strong knowledge of UNIX.
• Practical experience in Shell scripting.
• Good Windows, MS office knowledge.
• PERL development experience.
• Good knowledge of SQL and PLSQL.
• Infield experience with J2E.
• MS/BS degree in Computer Sciences, IT or equivalent.
• Knowledge of telecom IT.
• Very good English (both spoken and written), experience in writing documentation in English.
• BSCS 6 and MTS JRM applications knowledge will be an advantage.
