Responsibilities for this position will include (but are not limited to):

• Development of client user interfaces, primarily to be used with the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.
• Participation in the design of front-end interfaces for the client application.
• Participation in the maintenance of the existing releases of the customer’s product line.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following set of required competencies / skills:

• 3+ years of experience as an IT developer.
• Experience in AJAX Web development based on XmlHttpRequest.
• Proven experience in JavaScript development of web user interface using DHTML model.
• Practical experience in XML, XML schemas, using XSLT style sheet transformations.
• Design and architecture patterns.
• Knowledge and practical usage of visual modelling in UML (OO Analysis, OO Design and architecture.
• MS degree or equivalent in IT or related subject.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, which enables to communicate comfortably in this language.
• Unit testing, development of unit tests and code coverage.
• Ability to effectively facilitate technical communication and coordination with project members and leaders.
• Ability to have work-related travelling, because of participation in projects for international clients.
• Flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive “can do” attitude.

The following skills and competencies are desirable: 

• Experience with the software development model OpenUP/RUP.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, source control and configuration management systems.
• Experience with Administrative systems.
• Reading German skills.
